The cover of a 1976 Spanish compedium of ‘Ciencia ficcion’ (Science Fiction). Image sourced from http://ahi-va.blogspot.com/
An interesting image, the top figure looks like an early experiment in computer animation, artist unknown sorry.

Another vintage book cover sourced via coverbrowser.com, this time an early Philip K Dick Novel. I’ve picked this out not just for the eiree landscape (could be the bottom of the sea) but also for the Tech/Disco Typeface, if I was a graphics student again I’d be ripping this off!

Cover for the Stanislaw Lem Book “Solaris”. A slow burning Sci-Fi ghost story, converted to the screen as a Russian feature film (1974) then again by Steven Soderbergh (2002) staring George Clooney. Sorry no information on the cover artist.

A book cover designed by the late Scottish Italian Artist Eduardo Paolozzi (1924 – 2005) . Starting out working with collage’s of found object Paolozzi came to public attention in the 1960’s producing striking Screen Prints, and he also worked as a Sculptor. Paolozzi’s work is akin to the Pop Art movement of the time, although he described his work as Surrealist.
